Our March offer will resonate with clients seeking to buttress their gold positions through intentional targeting of notably undervalued subsections of the gold market.

Offer: 80 MS64 $20 Liberties gold coins – all dated 1900 – available at just $200 more than a modern American Gold Eagle.

Point of emphasis:  That’s less than 4% more than a 2026 American Gold Eagle for a high grade historic $20 gold piece, and these coins are ‘better dated’ to boot.

Consider the following statistics…

Just a combined total of 22,386 1900 dated $20 Liberty gold coins have achieved grade MS64 between both primary grading services (PCGS & NGC). Compare that to 86,949 total 1904 dated $20 Liberty gold coins in the same grades (the most common $20 Liberty date).

That makes these coins roughly 4x as rare as common dated 1904’s, but once again, through this offer, are trading within a narrow price band with contemporary gold bullion coin options.

Commentary: Accumulating 1900 dated MS64 $20 Liberties in what is an undeniably ‘undervalued’ condition underscores the future premium potential of positions in these coins, such that in a ‘worst case scenario’, they will track directly with the spot gold price just like a contemporary gold bullion coin would.  But in ‘better case scenarios’, these coins could see premium expansion, such that the value return on investment could exceed that of the just the underlying spot gold price alone.  Consider that during the financial crisis, these coins traded at a whopping three times the spot gold price, and as recently as the pandemic, premiums topped 50% over spot gold (see accompanying chart below).  As offered, these coins are just 10% over spot gold, with additional quantity discounts available to buyers of 5+ and 10+ coins.

When looking at premium expansion through the lens of likely scenarios, safe-haven and asset preservation minded investors stand the best chance to participate in such environments.  Why? Premiums are a function of supply and demand.  When demand pressures what is a clearly very small supply, premiums naturally rise. Scenarios where demand exceeds supply are most likely to be those when investors are driven by economic concerns into physical gold en masse, much like the financial crisis and pandemic or similar market events.  And, for safe haven investors, it is those very scenarios they are specifically acquiring gold to insulate against, thereby best positioning themselves to benefit from such outcomes.  It is for this reason that we can definitively say safe-haven investors would be hard pressed to find a more viable ‘value acquisition’ opportunity in today’s market.
