In May of 2006, we became interested in buying gold but knew nothing about it or how to buy it. In our search efforts, we came across Centennial Precious Metals whose agents were patient, answered our questions and sent us material to read. I especially recall that the agents we spoke with did not pressure us to buy, but rather wanted to ensure we understood about precious metals and discussed where we wanted to head as well as why we wanted to buy metals. Fast forward to past few days, I have been working with Jonathan as we now wish to sell back some of those initial coins. I have nothing but praise for the patience and time that Jonathan gave me as this again was a new process for us. When I read the company's on-line information, one line stood out to me: "Minimum transaction - 20 troy ounces gold..." Since I knew I was trading pre-1933 coins, I knew I would not meet that threshold. When I asked Jonathan, he told me that because we held an account with them, that requirement did not exist for us. I thought, wow! Even though we had an account, we've only had a couple small transactions and yet, we were treated as if we had a major account! I couldn't help but to think back to he first time we contacted Centennial. I see a thread that is customer centered which we first saw in 2006 continues today. Though I may have moved us out of our pre-1933's doesn't mean we won't trade with USAGOLD again...because we will.
