July Silver Special
We are offering bags of pre-1965 90% silver $500 face value half dollars/50c pieces at discounted rates. Each incremental bag size represents a 25 cent discount per ounce from the level preceding it (i.e. $250 Face Value, $500FV, $1000FV). Even at the $25oFV, these bags are being offered at comparable per ounce prices to 100 ounce bars of silver and well below the cost of sovereign mint coins like Maple Leafs and Eagles. This is especially notable as 50c piece bags are much harder to come by than quarter and dime bags, and were nearly impossible to find during the pandemic, trading at premiums upwards of $8 over spot silver. It all adds up to a tremendous opportunity to efficiently accumulate tradable/negotiable silver during this pullback, while adding the possibility of premium expansion during times of economic duress/increased demand.
We have 10 full bags available, but are willing to sell them in the listed divisible increments. If you have an interest in buying 2 full bags or more, contact us directly for additional price considerations.
U.S. pre-1965 silver coins, also referred to as “junk bags,” are a popular diversification among silver owners. Generally, silver in this form is sold in $500 face value bags weighing 357.5 fine troy ounces. Items included in this category are U.S. minted silver coins in dime, quarter and half-dollar denominations. $500 face value bags of half-dollars are usually priced at premiums over the dime and quarter bags. Generally speaking, $500 face value bags track the silver spot price and trade at reasonable premiums over their melt value.
