The United States $20 Liberty MS62, also known as the Double Eagle, is a historic gold coin minted from 1850 to 1907. Weighing just shy of a full ounce at .9675 troy ounces, it is composed of 22-karat (.900 fine) gold. The coin features the iconic Liberty Head design by James B. Longacre, with Lady Liberty wearing a crown inscribed with “Liberty” on the obverse and a heraldic eagle modeled after the Great Seal of the United States on the reverse.
