Gold demand seen resilient as Indians ‘learn to live with virus’

Somasundaram, regional chief executive officer for India at the [World Gold Council], said in an interview with Bloomberg TV. ‘I don’t think the third wave has affected demand. As a country, I think we have moved on to live with the virus.'”
USAGOLD note: The World Gold Council estimated that sales in the fourth quarter of 2021 would be the best in a decade as India attempts to return to normalcy.
