Forget 2020, half of Americans now think 2021 was worst year of their lives!

cartoon image of man flipping a gold coin“The survey of 1,000 adults — conducted by OnePoll on Dec. 13 — aimed to get an ‘end of year reflection’ on many subjects and found that 53 percent feel 2021 has been a very unpleasant year for them. However, seven in 10 still have high hopes that 2022 will be an improvement over the previous year.”

USAGOLD note: According to this survey, young people were particularly critical of the year just passed. One would think that others will be chalking up 2021 as a very good year. As for 2022, most would agree it is a flip of the coin as to how it will shape up.
