USAGOLD note: We have mentioned from time to time that politics is increasingly coming into play at the Fed. The hawks and the doves monetarily are akin to the liberals and conservatives politically. The Fed has always characterized itself as above politics, but in this highly politicized environment that might have become a thing of the past.
