Discussing the Congressional expansion of the U.S. national debt ceiling by 15% ($1.9 trillion), an arguably significant event that was not even covered by The Financial Times. We are now in the realm where the national debt could soon exceed GDP, and reversal of that trend is not easily foreseeable.
